In this session, we will discuss the ways in which expectations for math instruction have changed since we learned it as students. Participants will learn how to connect the traditional algorithms to flexible strategies so that students can develop a strong foundation of procedural fluency, conceptual understanding, and be able to apply both to practical situations.
