We are surrounded by data in our everyday lives. How do we teach our students to make sense of data information presented on social media, the news, or advertisements? Data Talks engage students in conversations about real-world visualizations. Students are given the power to accept data information as truth or dare to present their own ideas. This session will explore the power of data talks to build critical thinking skills, capitalize on student interest, and support student collaboration and communication.
