Are you energized by the ideas of Building Thinking Classrooms but can’t yet picture what a “regular day” would look like in your classroom? This session is devoted entirely to practical implementation of thin-slicing – the everyday curricular tasks that center students as knowledge developers and can radically transform direct instruction. Participants will leave the session with developed examples as well as a framework for how to design and implement thin-slicing problem sets themselves.
