The Mathematical Practices empower students to use math and to think mathematically. Research tells us that quality mathematical discourse not only helps students share their thinking, but also helps guide the thought process. The goal of this session is to discuss how we can use questioning strategies to help make the math talk in our classrooms more intentional and productive.
