Cultivating one’s leadership practice is challenging--especially when making instructional shifts that lead to equitable outcomes for students. The Proactive Coaching Framework (PCF) is a planning framework that empowers school stakeholders to enact changes that improve mathematics instruction. We share stories of cultivating leadership in which coaches designed and enacted professional learning guided by the PCF, thus moving them closer to their school-wide vision of equity for all.
